Jing Jie is acrid and slightly warm. It enters the lung and liver systems. It is especially useful in treating disorders of the skin.

Jing Jie has a function to stop bleeding when it is charred. Even though Jing Jie is slightly warm, it can treat wind-heat or wind-cold.
