CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:

Dai Zhe Shi is bitter and cold. It enters the liver, heart, and pericardium to circulate blood. A stagnation of liver qi and blood and cause problems in many other systems but this herb uniquely enters the heart and pericardium systems. The bitter quality plus the heavy nature of this herb help it to sedate and reduce dysfunctional yang patterns.

Dai Zhe Shi can treat patterns of bleeding especially when the pattern is caused from heat as this is a cold herb. It also contains iron which supports blood health.
