CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:

Da Fu Pi is acrid and slightly warm. It enters the spleen, stomach, large intestine, and small intestine systems.

Da Fu Pi is sometimes remembered as D = Damp, F = Food, and P = Pee. For abdominal distention Hou Po is the number herb while Da Fu Pi is the second. Lai Fu Zi might be considered the third.

Contraindications: although Da Fu Pi can be prescribed for morning sickness it should be used very cautiously
