Bai Jiang Can enters the lung and liver systems to eliminate wind. Internal wind is related to liver dysregulation and this function is likely achieved through support of liver phase II. It has an ability to move liver blood by its acrid property. This also applies to patterns of wind-phlegm-heat.
The effect on the lungs can be seen both in the treatment of sore or swollen throat and itchy skin and skin rash.
Bai Jiang Can is neutral and can safely be given to children.
