Fu Ping is acrid to disperse and cold to treat exterior heat attacks. It enters the lung and bladder systems and is considered a strong diaphoretic. It is also a diuretic to reduce edema.

Contraindications: Fu Ping induces sweating and should not be prescribed to patients that have hyperhidrosis and should only be prescribed to patients with excess heat patterns
