# Ye Jiao Teng

Ye Jiao Teng is sweet and neutral. It enters the heart and liver
systems. It calms the spirit and nourishes the heart to improve
shen. Abnormal liver function can also cause sympathetic nervous
system stimulation resulting in irritability and bad dreams. By
entering the liver system, Ye Jiao Teng also improves normal liver
function.
