# Wu Jia Pi

### Eleutherococci Gracilistyli Cortex

_acrid, bitter, warm_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Dispel Wind-Dampness**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Weak bones
- Weakness of tendons and ligaments
- Developmental delays
- Edema
- Urinary difficulty

Wu Jia Pi is a warm herb which allows it to treat cold patterns of
wind-dampness. It is acrid and bitter to get blood moving through
the tissues and nourish weak and brittle tendons and ligaments. It
enters the liver and the kidney systems to help liver related
swellings, such as arthritis, and gonadal pathologies that include
erectile dysfunction and cold damp in the genital area.

POSSIBILITIES:
- Poor motor skill in youth
- Dysuria
- Skin rash on the genitals
- Lethargy
- Arthritis
- Erectile dysfunction

**Contraindications:** there are no contraindications
