# Shen Qu

### Massa Medicata Fermentata

_acrid, sweet, warm_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Relieves Food Stagnation**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Food stagnation
- Epigastric or abdominal fullness
- Poor appetite
- Borborygmus
- Diarrhea

Shen Qu is sweet, acrid, and warm. It enters the spleen and
stomach to treat indigestion.
