# Sang Bai Pi

### Mori Cortex

_sweet, cold_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Regulate Qi**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Cough
- Wheeze
- Edema
- Fever
- Thirst
- Difficult urination
- Floating pulse
- Hypertension

Sang Bai Pi is sweet and cold. It enters the lung system only. Sang
Bai Pi treats cough especially when it is due to lung heat patterns.

It can also treat both facial edema and floating edema.

**Channels:** lung

POSSIBILITIES:
- Gastrointestinal disorders
- Swelling in the legs
- Edema in the abdomen
- Vomiting
- Asthma

- Bu Fei Tang
- Ding Chuan Tang
- Jiu Xian San
- Ma Huang Lian Qiao Chi Xiao Dou Tang
- Qing Fei Tang
- Ren Shen Bu Fei Tang
- Ren Shen Ge Jie San
- Wu Pi San
- Xie Bai San

**Contraindications:** do not prescribe Sang Bai Pi to patients
with cough when it is due to lung cold patterns
