# Pu Gong Ying

### Taraxaci Herba

_bitter, sweet, cold_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Clears Heat and Resolves Toxicity**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Breast abscess
- Internal abscess
- Sores
- Red swollen eyes
- Jaundice
- Painful urination

Pu Gong Ying enters the liver and stomach systems but it is
especially noted for its ability to treat breast abscess. It is bitter,
sweet, and cold allowing it to treat heat patterns.

**Contraindications:** Pu Gong Ying is very toxic and should not
be prescribed to pregnant patients or patients that present with
a weak constitution
