# Mo Yao

Mo Yao is bitter and neutral. It enters the heart, liver, and spleen
systems. It heals tissue for treatment of traumas and moves the
blood to treat menstrual disorders.

**Contraindications:** Mo Yao should not be prescribed to
patients that are not presenting with blood stasis patterns,
should not be prescribed to pregnant patients or patients with
poor digestive function, and should only be used short term
