# Mo Han Lian

### Ecliptae Herba

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Tonify Yin**_

- Dizziness
- Blurred vision
- Vertigo
- Premature greying of hair
- Bleeding disorders
 - Hematemesis
 - Hemoptysis
 - Epistaxis
 - Hemafecia
 - Hematuria
 - Menometrorrhagia

Mo Han Lian is sweet, sour, and cool. It enters the kidney and
liver systems to treat deficiency of yin patterns. It is especially
useful in treating patients that have bleeding disorders originating
from deficiency heat patterns.

**Formulas:**
- Er Zhi Wan

**Contraindications:** do not prescribe Mo Han Lian to patients
that present with poor digestive function
