# Huo Xiang

_acrid, slightly warm_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Aromatic Herb that Transforms Damp**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Digestive tract disorders
 - Nausea
 - Vomiting
 - Morning sickness
- Dermatosis

Huo Xiang is acrid to disperse and slightly warm to treat cold
patterns of dampness that have accumulation in the digestive tract
or on the skin. It enters the lung, stomach, and spleen systems.

**Channels:** lung, stomach, spleen

- Digestive tract disorders

 - Morning sickness
 - Diarrhea

- Bu Huan Jin Zheng Qi San
- Gan Lu Xiao Du Dan
- Huo Po Xia Ling Tang
- Huo Xiang Zheng Qi San
- Long Dan Bi Yuan Fang
- Mu Xiang Liu Qi Yin
- Xie Huang San
- Yi Jia Jian Zheng Qi San

**Contraindications:** Huo Xiang should not be prescribed to
patients that present with severe deficiency heat patterns
