# He Ye

### Nelumbinis Folium

_bitter, slightly sweet, neutral_

#### MAIN FUNCTION:

_**Clears Heat and Resolves Toxicity**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Fever
- Hyperhidrosis
- Scanty urine
- Irascibility
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
 - Blood

He Ye enters the heart, liver, and spleen systems. It’s bitter and
neutral. It is also slightly sweet which treat spleen sinking patterns.
It can also treat bleeding disorders which may have to do with
spleen deficiency and the spleen’s ability to hold the blood in the
vessels.
