# Ge Gen

### Puerariae Radix

_acrid, sweet, cool_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Release the Exterior for Heat Attack**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Common cold
 - Stiff neck/upper back
 - Headache
- Irascibility
- Dysglycemia
- Rash
- Intestinal disorders
 - Diarrhea
 - Dysentery
- Dizziness
- Tinnitus
- Paresthesia

Ge Gen enters the spleen and the stomach systems. It is acrid to
disperse exterior attacks and cool to treat heat patterns. It is also
sweet to generate fluids.
