#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Warm the Interior and Expel Cold**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Gastrointestinal tract disorders
 - Epigastric pain
 - Abdominal pain
 - Vomiting
 - Hiccough
 - Diarrhea

Gao Liang Jiang is acrid and hot. It enters the stomach and spleen
systems to treat cold patterns. It’s primarily used to treat
gastrointestinal tract disorders.

**Channels:** spleen, stomach

POSSIBILITIES:
- Cold masses in the abdomen
- Stomachache
- Angina pain
- Indigestion
- Hiccough
- Vomiting
- Nausea
 - Antimicrobial

**Formulas:**
- Liang Fu Wan
- Tian Tai Wu Yao San

**Contraindications:** do not prescribe Gao Liang Jiang to
patients that present with heat due to deficiency patterns
