# Fu Ping

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Release the Exterior for Heat Attack**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Body aches
- Rash
- Measles
- Edema
- Urinary difficulty

Fu Ping is acrid to disperse and cold to treat exterior heat attacks.
It enters the lung and bladder systems and is considered a strong
diaphoretic. It is also a diuretic to reduce edema.

**Channels:** lung, bladder

COMMON APPLICATIONS AND CLINICAL
POSSIBILITIES:
- Edema
- Epilepsy
- Arthritis
- Acne
- Rash
- Hypotension

**Contraindications:** Fu Ping induces sweating and should not
be prescribed to patients that have hyperhidrosis and should
only be prescribed to patients with excess heat patterns
