# Di Fu Zi

### Kochiae Fructus

_bitter, cold_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Drain Dampness**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Disorders of the urogenital tract
 - Painful urination
 - Scanty urination
 - Itching
 - Genital
- Skin disorders with itching
- Eczema
- Scabies
- Eye troubles

Di Fu Zi is sweet, bitter, and cold which gives it the ability to treat
damp-heat. It enters the bladder and kidney systems to drain
damp-heat and can also resolve itching in the genitals when
caused by damp-heat.

**Channels:** bladder, kidney

COMMON APPLICATIONS AND CLINICAL
POSSIBILITIES:
- Eczema
- Edema
- Conjunctivitis
- Rash
- Urticaria
- Diuretic

**Contraindications:** there are no contraindications
documented for Di Fu Zi
