# Da Ji

### Cirsii japonica Herba sive Radix

 - Hemafecia

- Sores
- Carbuncles
- Jaundice
- Hypertension

Da Ji is sweet and cool. It enters the spleen, heart, and liver
systems to stop bleeding.

Da Ji’s affinity to the liver allows it to treat gynecological
disorders that involve irregular bleeding patterns. It is also sweet
to nourish splenic functions for holding blood in the vessels.

**Contraindications:** do not prescribe Da Ji to patients that
present with poor digestive function due to cold deficiency
