# Bing Lang

### Arecae Semen

_acrid, bitter, warm_

Bing Lang is acrid, bitter, and warm. It detoxifies the
gastrointestinal tract by entering the stomach and large intestine
systems.

**Contraindications:** Bing Lang is irritating to the
gastrointestinal tract and needs to be given with caution for
those patients that have a weak middle jiao functions
