# Bian Xu

### Polygoni Avicularis Herba

_bitter, slightly cold_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Drain Dampness**_

Bian Xu is bitter to drain and slightly cold to remove heat
patterns. It only enters the bladder system to drain out heat
pathogens and treat related damp-heat patterns.
