# Bi Xie

### Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

 - Plus stiffness and numbness

Bi Xie enters the stomach, bladder, and liver systems. It is bitter
and neutral. Its draining effect on the liver improves circulation
systemically and decreases tightness in the tendons and ligaments.
Its effect on the bladder clears up infections and helps disorders
involving urination.
