# Bai Xian Pi

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Bai Xian Pi enters the spleen and stomach. It is bitter and cold to
treat heat patterns especially when related to the skin and the
lower jiao.

The health of the gastrointestinal tract is fundamental to vaginal
health which allows this herb to treat vaginal discharge when the
cause is a damp heat pattern in the lower jiao.
