# Bai Jiang Can

### Bombyx Batryticatus

_acrid, salty, neutral_

#### PRIMARY FUNCTION:

_**Extinguish Wind and Stop Tremors**_

CLASSICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
- Seizures
 - Including convulsions in children
- Paralysis
 - Of the face
- Headache
- Red eyes
- Throat disorders
 - Sore throat
 - Loss of voice
- Nodulation
 - Including glandular disorders
 - Scrofula
- Skin disorders
 - Rash
 - Itching

Bai Jiang Can enters the lung and liver systems to eliminate wind.
Internal wind is related to liver dysregulation and this function is
likely achieved through support of liver phase II. It has an ability
to move liver blood by its acrid property. This also applies to
patterns of wind-phlegm-heat.

The effect on the lungs can be seen both in the treatment of sore
or swollen throat and itchy skin and skin rash.

Bai Jiang Can is neutral and can safely be given to children.
